4. Verb Pattern 4 : S+V+Pro(noun)+(to be)+complement
5. Verb Pattern 5 : S+V+Pro(noun)+infinitive
6. Verb Pattern 6 : S+V+Pro(noun)+present participle
7. Verb Pattern 7 : S+V+O+adjective

EXAMPLE OF VERB PATTERN 1-10 :

1. I know your name
2. Please try to do better next time
3. I don't want anyone to know
4. People supposed him (to be )innocent
5. Watch the boy jump !
6. I saw the boy crossing the road
7. Can you push the door open?
8. The people made SBY president of Indonesia
9. He couldn't make his voice heard

Keterangan :

• Verb = kata kerja
• Pattern = pola
• Direct object = objek langsung (ex: I buy a book)
• Indirect object = objek tidak langsung (ex: My Father bought me a book)
• VERB FORMS

• Infinitive :

1. to infinitive (with to)
2. bare infinitive (without to)

• Pronoun = kata ganti orang
• noun = kata benda
• compliment = keterangan ( S+V+O+Compliment )
• Adverbial particle = hapir sama dengan preposition ( yaitu : of, away, up, on, in, out, for,etc)
